Luke started his martial arts journey at the age of 9 under the instruction of Craig Long at York Martial Arts Academy.
Over the next 12 years, Luke went on to achieve his 1st Dan Black Belt, represent Team England at several World Championships and win multiple National titles.
Whilst completing his Certified Instructor Training Programme Luke became a full time Martial Arts professional teaching six night per week.
In 2013, 20 year old Luke ventured out and opened X Martial Arts School.
Over the past 10 years he’s developed a world class team and expanded to five locations across Yorkshire.
‘I never planned to open more locations, but I very quickly realised that we could only change a certain amount of lives through X Martial Arts Schools by staying in one location.
We developed a world class Team of Instructors that have allowed us to expand to five locations and change thousands of lives!
Over the next few years we are focusing really hard on the development of future instructors to support the continued growth of XMA
